I would love to write a five-star review on free up storage on first they had a great location they had a great front desk receptionist that was more than helpful and more than a combinating like she genuinely cared and in the discounts the discounts were phenomenal until the end now if you expect to get any money back for leaving your storage unit clean and out early you can forget about it this is the one and only company I've ever had in my 42 years of existence that it is policy not to give any refunds because you pay for the month regardless if you leave earlier or not now to me that's like stealing my money I'm not there using your unit it's spotless I'm out early so you can run it to someone else so you are not experiencing any kind of loss from me but when I leave storage that means I'm done with it that means I don't want to pay for it any longer than I have to it's an extra added fee in life you don't need storage to live but when you're moving or when you're storing stuff or any kind of big projects you're going to need a storage unit you're going to need space but when I'm done with that extra cost I expect that refund I always have and I've always got it my whole life and that little bit of extra money goes a long ways in helping with any repairs to my new house or any car problems or any extra expenses of kids might need to school it comes handy for lots of reasons so I've become accustomed to getting my money back when I exit storage early the customer service representative was a joke she literally was not helpful did not care whatsoever about me getting my money back and did nothing to try to solve the issue the only thing she did was repeat the same sentence twice in like a 20 minute period I'm flying off the handle talking about what you're going to keep my money cuz it's the first time I've ever experienced this before she does not care whatsoever customer service is all about Karen helping genuinely wanting to accommodate something to make their life easier cuz that's a storage is right it's helping give us space to regardless easier for the things that we need to get done by a small fee which if you leave early gets returned not here not at free up storage she said she'll have to process the order but then she just continue to let me go on ranting and she think I want to be upset does she think I want to be tossing words at her that aren't very kind no I don't I have lots of things going on that I much rather do I want her to solve the problem I want her to fix it and I want her to comfort me and let me know that what I'm experiencing has got to be frustrating but she's here every step of the way she's going to be here and walk me through it and we're going to figure this out and if anything when I rented the storage unit I should have been informed of such a policy because I've never heard of such a policy existing ever at storage units do not rent from free up storage they real you in and then suck your drive boo don't rent from free up storage what a rip off they steal your money and refuse to give it back they already are making money but they want more they don't want me to have none of my hard-earned money back that's fine we'll just go somewhere else for life thanks for nothing free up customer service specialist get a new job you suck at this one

Reserving a unit online was fast easy! They call you and all leasing is done over the phone. It was lovely talking to Janna, too! It’s one of the closer sites to UNL and very convenient to Downtown. Thanks for a great experience!
