This rental property was extremely easy to work with and friendly. Their pricing was very reasonable and they offer military discounts. They provide the lock and the insurance in my quote so there was no hidden fees. Move out was very simple, ours was after hours and they just asked us to call the next day to make sure it was empty and swept out. I did deduct one star due to the fact that all of my belongings were completely covered in pollen. It would have been nice to know this could be an issue so I could have bagged everything. (suggest doing that) I did not have a climate controlled unit so that could help with that issue potentially. Overall I would absolutely rent from them again.“

I rented a unit for over 9 years. It was a great place to store my stuff which I didn’t use everyday. I never had an issue accessing the gates or the climate controlled building. I would rent from them again if I needed to.“

Free up Storage in Havelock NC, is PHENOMENAL!!! Thee best self storage facility not just in Eastern NC but the entire state! They truly care for their customers and belongings at the Havelock location. The units have been updated and are clean!
The facility grounds are well kept, motion controlled lights, cameras, they have many security features to ensure your items are well maintained and secure.
They also have climate and non climate controlled units and I have both and enjoy the safety & security of all my units.
The gems of the organization, the office staff these two angels Nicole & Ramona are God sent. They go over and beyond to assist the customers and I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done to preserve my items!
