Giveaway Terms and Conditions

FreeUp Storage - Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival Ticket Giveaway

1. Sponsor This giveaway is sponsored by FreeUp Storage (“Sponsor”), a locally owned self storage company operating in the Tyler, Texas area.

2. Eligibility Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of FreeUp Storage and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

3. Giveaway Period The giveaway begins on April 30, 2026 and ends on May 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT (“Entry Period”). Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

There are four ways to enter:
Method 1 – Standard Move-In Entry: Complete a new move-in at any of the eight (8) participating FreeUp Storage locations during the Entry Period to receive one (1) entry. Existing customers and renewals are not eligible.
Method 2 – Spotlight Bonus Entry: Complete a new move-in at a designated Spotlight Facility (Tyler, SH-155, or Flint locations) during the Entry Period to receive one (1) additional bonus entry. Customers who move in at a Spotlight Facility receive a maximum of two (2) entries total (one standard + one bonus).
Method 3 – Free Entry (No Purchase Required): To enter without a move-in, complete the free entry form at https://www.freeupstorage.com/self-storage/texas/red-dirt-fest-ticket-away-tyler-tx during the Entry Period, providing your full name, phone number, and email address. Completing the form earns one (1) entry.
Method 4 – Free Bonus Entry (Newsletter Sign-Up): Free entrants may receive one (1) additional bonus entry by checking the opt-in box on the free entry form to subscribe to the FreeUp Storage email newsletter. This bonus entry is free, requires no purchase, and is available to all free entrants, resulting in a maximum of two (2) entries for free entrants who opt in, equal to the maximum available to move-in customers. Newsletter sign-up is optional and not required to enter or win. Regardless of entry method, limit two (2) total entries per person. Free entries are equally valid and carry the same odds as move-in entries. Entries are non-transferable. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void.

5. Prize One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival on May 9, 2026 at The Park of East Texas, Tyler, TX. Approximate retail value: $150.00. No cash equivalent or substitution will be offered except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable. The prize is subject to all terms, conditions, and restrictions imposed by the event organizer and venue. Sponsor makes no guarantees regarding seating, access, or event experience. Winner is solely responsible for all expenses not expressly included in the prize, including but not limited to:
  • Transportation
  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Incidentals

Sponsor is not responsible if the winner is denied entry to the event for any reason.

6. Odds Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

7. Winner Selection One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries on or around May 8, 2026. The winner will be notified by phone or email within 24 hours of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within 24 hours of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

8. Winner Verification & Documentation Potential winner may be required to verify eligibility prior to receiving the prize. Verification may include, but is not limited to:
  • Presentation of a valid government-issued ID
  • Completion and return of an Affidavit of Eligibility
  • Execution of a Liability Release and, where permitted, a Publicity Release

Failure to complete required documentation within the time specified by Sponsor may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Disqualification & Fraud Prevention Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who:
  • Submits false or misleading information
  • Attempts to enter more than the permitted number of times
  • Uses automated systems, bots, or scripts to enter
  • Tampers with the entry process or operation of the giveaway
  • Violates these Official Rules in any way

Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility and disqualification are final and binding.

8. Conditions By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules. FreeUp Storage reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for:
  • Lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries
  • Technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to website malfunctions, server issues, or network disruptions
  • Any errors or delays caused by internet service providers or user equipment

Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt by Sponsor.

9. Liability Release To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to participation in the giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize, even if advised of the possibility of such damages., including but not limited to: personal injury or death sustained at or in connection with the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival; event cancellation, postponement, or delays beyond the control of Sponsor; and any travel to or from the event. Participation in the prize event is entirely at the winner’s own risk.

10. Event Cancellation / Prize Substitution If the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival is cancelled, postponed, or materially altered for any reason beyond the control of Sponsor, FreeUp Storage reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (a) substitute a prize of equal or greater value; or (b) cancel the giveaway and award no prize. In the event of cancellation, no compensation will be owed to any entrant. Sponsor is not responsible for any costs incurred by entrants in anticipation of receiving a prize. Sponsor shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, governmental actions, labor disputes, or interruptions in utilities or communications. In such events, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway.

11. Taxes The winner is solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes applicable to the prize. FreeUp Storage makes no representation as to the tax consequences of receiving a prize. Winner may be required to provide a completed W-9 or other tax documentation prior to receiving the prize.

12. Privacy Information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering this giveaway and will not be sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law. Entrants who opt in to the FreeUp Storage newsletter will receive promotional communications and may unsubscribe at any time.

13. Publicity By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes by FreeUp Storage without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. By participating, entrants release such platforms from any responsibility related to this giveaway.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution This giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this giveaway shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Smith County, Texas, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15. General This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival or its organizers. All questions regarding the giveaway should be directed to FreeUp Storage.
